First Boston Pharma Board Expands

Sherry L. Schultz, a New Jersey resident, and William D. Thomas of Kansas City, MO were elected to the board of First Boston Pharma at a recent meeting.

Ms. Schultz is chairman of Consumer Products Innovation, a management consulting firm to the consumer healthcare and confection industries. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the National Confection Association.

Sherry Schultz brings to First Boston Pharma diverse OTC marketing and sales experience in antacids, cough/cold, oral care and dermatologics. She previously served as Vice President and General Manager for the confections division of The Topps Company, Vice President Global Business Development of the Adams Division, Pfizer Inc. and Vice President Corporate Development for the Warner Lambert Consumer Products Division.

Bill Thomas is founder and Sr. Managing Director of TGP Investments L.L.C., the managing partner in private equity partnerships. Thomas spent 40 years with George K. Baum & Company and its affiliates, rising to Vice Chairman of this NY Stock Exchange firm. He then served as President of George K. Baum Group, Inc. and in 1996 Thomas became Sr. Managing Director of George K. Baum Merchant Banc, Inc., the general partner of George K. Baum Capital Partners, a private
equity fund.

Mr. Thomas has served on the board of directors of more than
25 public and private companies. He received a B.A. from the
University of Kansas, and a J.D. and L.L.M. from the University of
Missouri at Kansas City. He is currently a member of the American
Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan
Bar Association and the CFA Institute.
